With Marie Sharp’s Habanero Pepper sauce being Belize’s most famous hot sauce, sold worldwide, it is not unusual that fans of the hot sauce wonder where all the magic happens. For those purposes, Marie Sharp offers a full tour of the facility where visitors can see where and how the manufacturing of the pepper sauces takes place.
At the commencement of the tour, you will be briefed on the background story of how Marie Sharp’s pepper sauce came to be, highlighting how long it has been in service and the work that was put in to advance to where the company is today. After which, you will be escorted by a guide into the factory where you will be given a tour.
Components of the tour will include:
- Where the hot sauces are created
- Where the Hot Sauces are stored
- Where and how the packaging of the hot sauces takes place
After the tour, you will be taken into Marie Sharp’s Giftshop where you will be able to see and purchase some Marie Sharp items, even the ones that are not yet on public shelves. Along with your souvenirs, you will have the opportunity to have a friendly competition and taste Marie Sharp’s famous peppers, juices, jams, marmalades, steak sauces, and wines to cool down the heat. What a treat! WARNING! Marie Sharp peppers are up to 350,000 Scoville units.
